Today was my longest ride so far, 91 miles. Luckily there was a gas station near the half-way point. The day was sunny, but not too hot. I started a little later than I wanted, because I was cooking bacon in the microwave in my hotel room. In the end, I had 4 great BLT's and lots of snacks and water bottles for the long day.
As before, the terrain in Wyoming is dramatic and barren:

The day ended with a bit of excitement... I got a flat tire about 20 miles out from Casper... I was able to fix it, but then I got a second flat 14 miles later... so maybe I didn't fix it 100% the first time... Luckily, I was able to hitchhike with a guy who had room to fit my bike as well. He said "sorry my car's a mess," I said "that's perfect for me". And, if you're wondering... I did make it to the sushi restaurant for dinner :-)
Stats: 85 miles, started at 7:45am, ended at 7:45pm, 10 hours of actual riding:
Wow, I'm glad you made it the 91 miles! Four BLTs sound worth starting late for... the happiness of having good food :) and at least the sushi provided the anticipation of good food!
What an exciting day! As member of the MAC team we all know flat tire or no flat tire, nothing can stop you from getting those sushi 🍣
