Day #74: Keystone to Custer (28 miles)

Another beautiful day, riding through Alpine terrain, made friends with Dana McKnight at a diner in Hill City. Like me, he had ridden most way across the country last year and had gotten sick, so he was back to finish his ride. He was a stronger rider than I am, so he set a fast pace, which got me to Custer earlier than I expected :-)

Too cool that you guys met up and that he was finishing a ride across the country too! I wonder how your routes compared. Glad there was a good lunch spot
