Day #64: Murdo to Kadoka, South Dakota (43 miles)

Not too long a ride today... if the wind picks up it will be against me... but my big concern is the heat... it's supposed to hit 104 degrees by 2pm. I started off at 7am and tried to ride through with as few breaks as I could, so I didn't take as many pictures as usual...

I realized that with all the pictures of the prairie, I hadn't taken a picture of myself in ages, so... largely unchanged after about 2,400 miles on the bike:

As forecast, the first few hours of riding were lovely and cool, but by the end, a headwind was blowing and I was tired and hot, and happy to get off the road while it was still just in the mid 90's...
Snapshot: 43 miles, starting at 7am and ending at 11:45am, with 3.75 hours of actual riding. It turns out about half way through the ride I crossed time zones into Mountain Standard Time (MST), so the summary below is in MST, whereas my snapshot info kept it in CST:
