Nice conversations all day... with a woman in her pickup truck, with a dad doing a road trip with his extended family, with a truck driver at a gas station... and beautiful, beautiful grasslands, hot, but always a cooling breeze, and not too windy...
The first 10 miles were on gravel roads through gorgeous grasslands:

From BDC to Wall Drug store, 510 main st, Wall, SD 57790, driving on I-90 W, it would be 27 hours, 1830 miles :-)
