Day #49: Hastings to Minneapolis (51 miles)

Today's ride followed a bunch of beautiful bike paths along the Mississippi and then through Saint Paul and Minneapolis, but it was also draining. The explanation of why I felt tired came when I arrived at Katie and Joe's house in Plymouth: it turns out both my tires had lost air and in fact the front tire was half way flat, and it also turned out that my bladder infection had flared back up... sigh. But I made it to Minneapolis, which is pretty much the half way point on my trip...and Katie took me to an urgent care where I got prescribed a different antibiotic...

The ride moved from the countryside into the heart of the twin cities area...
