Today was a long ride and the heat dome still hung over the province of Ontario, so we started as early as we could...

It felt like we properly hit the mid-west today with mile after mile of straight roads running through endless farmland:

One action shot:

By the end, the heat started getting to me, but Mark kept his cool, so we make a few pit stops. Fewer pictures today because the heat made me get tunnel vision...

The snapshot: 67 miles from 5:30am to 3pm, with 8 hours of actual riding:

5:30am... that sounds painful! I'd have tunnel vision leading to wherever the hot dog lunch is :) -Nof

That sunrise! 67 miles in hot summer day is too much. All I can say is that supermen do exist :-)
