Day #19: Grimsby to Mississauga (38 miles)

I was so worried about the heat today that I started riding at 6am... Mark opted for a later start...
I figured out why I'm not losing any weight... along the way I had 3 breakfasts, outdoing even the hobbits... Swiss cereal, then a McDonalds egg McMuffin and a really great bagel:
Today, our destination was Mississauga, where my friend and AMD colleague, Trevor Hancher lives. The early start paid off for me, because I arrived at Trev's house at 11am and in the afternoon the sun felt like a blast furnace.
Trev is a great cook and was smoking a brisket for dinner:

Hi Chris, I'm just catching up on your blog. Quite the adventure as you pound out the miles! The country seems smaller watching you peddle through it on the web. I'm sure it doesn't seem that way from your end - ha ha... Looking forward to lots more.
PS not losing weight? Once you guys get past Chicago and through cheese country there's South Dakota. I challenge you to get through there without loosing 10 lbs ;-)
I could have three breakfasts if food is that good. Hopefully our Canada colleagues will one day bike to Boston visiting us 🚴 . All the photos and action shots are beautiful.
